Pregnancy care ~ Obstetrics.

Informed choice is a crucial aspect of modern obstetric care. It is your right to be involved in all decision making surrounding both your pregnancy and birth. It is my responsibility to ensure you and your partner are completely familiar with every part of your antenatal care. My consulting rooms are designed to be a welcoming and friendly environment where we can talk openly.

I have extensive experience in all aspects of Obstetric care, including normal, high risk and multiple pregnancies. Of course, your aim and mine is for a healthy, happy and intervention-free pregnancy and birth. However, if problems do occur during the pregnancy, please be assured I have the knowledge-base and skill to advise and assist you.

The size of my practice is deliberately limited, in order to give you the personalised care you need – at all times. My rooms also have ultrasound and all the equipment necessary to ensure you receive the best quality care.
Prior to the birth of your child, you can expect to see me for consultations in my rooms about 10-12 times.

Your first visit will be at about 10 weeks’ gestation. Visits will increase in frequency in the third trimester as your due date approaches.

The mothers in my care deliver their babies at North Shore Private and
The Mater hospitals.

If you choose to book with me, you will have access to a specialist obstetrician 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for all urgent matters. My office nursing and midwifery staff are also on hand to help, as well as the delivery-suite midwives at North Shore Private and The Mater.

Remember, out of hours, or in case of emergency, please make sure to first contact the delivery suite at your chosen hospital.
